Najada Kumbuli, head of investments at the Visa Foundation, penned a powerful blog related to conversations during C3’s Learning Labs, focusing on the use of catalytic capital in a “seeding” role. “Catalytic capital providers have at least one thing in common: a commitment to address systemic challenges with systemic solutions,” she writes in Impact Alpha as part of the Seeding Impact series emerging from C3 Learning Labs. “Combating systemic bias calls for systemic solutions,” she says. “To channel more capital to diverse entrepreneurs we need to channel more capital to diverse fund managers.”
